Scientific Software Engineer
Primary responsibilities include: Working
with scientists and senior engineers to define, design, implement, test
and support new functionalities; Developing and maintaining programs written
in VC6.0 MFC; and developing and maintaining data driven web site using
ASP.NET and MS SQL.
This position requires a BSBME, BSCS or BSEE degree
and a strong interest in the human brain and cognition.
Practical experience
with Object Oriented Design, VC++ 6.0, C#, ASP.NET, IIS, and MS SQL Server
are essential. Working knowledge of Web servicing, Web Service DirectX,
HTML, XHTML, CSS, XML, Javascript, data driven web sites, relational database
design, and general internet security issues is desirable. Signal processing
and numerical methods experience preferred.
Individual must have the ability
to manage multiple tasks, pleasant interpersonal skills, excellent communication
skills and an ability to work independently as well as closely with others
in a small work environment. This position offers the opportunity for
