MANSCAN®'s sixth
generation software is derived from the world's first combined EEG and
MRI research system developed by SAM Technology, Inc. beginning in the
mid 1980's. The robust and well-proven algorithms and methods of the research
system have been further refined and reprogrammed using advanced object-oriented
software engineering technologies including the C++ language, Microsoft
Foundation Classes and Microsoft Object Linking and Embedding. These advanced
technologies: provide a unified, easy-to-use, point-and-click user interface;
facilitate inter-operability with external software applications such
as spread sheets, word processors, statistics packages, and slide generation
programs; and ensure that the system will be maintained and updated over
the years to come.
